SOME RESULTS FROM A LONG-TERM BIRD-BANDING PROJECT IN THE BRINDABELLA RANGE, A.C.T.

During a 19-year study of birds in the Brindabella Range, ACT, about 35 000 banding records. comprising both captures and recaptures. were obtained for 52 species. Individuals from 16 species were never recaptured but more than 1 000 capture and recapture records were obtained for four species. About 12 species appear to be seasonal altitudinal migrants.
