To avoid disruptions to your summer field work, please ensure all orders are received by the 10th of December so they can be processed and shipped before this closure period. Orders placed after this date will be processed once the service resumes on the 16th of January. The Mist Net Service imports and sells research equipment such as mist nets, Pesola scales, colour bands and other items that are used in banding and other studies of birds. Mist nets and colour bands will be sold only to researchers who are licensed by the Australian Bird and Bat Banding Scheme to use that equipment.
