White-browed Scrub-wrens have been banded at New Chums Road in the Brindabella Range,
Australian Capital Territory since 1961. as part of a larger bird-banding study. Adult White-browed
Scrub-wrens were sedentary. and during the period 1961-82 their mean annual survival rate was 65
per cent. This compares with an annual survival of 77 per cent for adult White-browed Scrub-wrens
in south-west Western Australia.
