White-browed Woodswallows
Artamus superciliosus invaded the Southern Tablelands
of New South Wales during the summer of 1980. The invasion was correlated
with drought conditions further west and a nesting colony was established on one of
our study plots near the Bondi State Forest. The success of this colony was affected
by predators, storms and possibly by the number of birds in the colony.
