BOOK REVIEW: The Eagle Watchers: Observing and Conserving Raptors around the World
||Ruth Tingay, Todd Katzner
This book is a compilation of essays about studying, or
attempting to study, eagle species around the world, from well studied
species in Western countries to rare, barely accessible species in remote, rugged rainforests of Third World countries. Its rationale is to present human experiences of eagles by eagle biologists, as narratives of encounters with eagles in the wild. It is written for those who have not experienced eagles up close.
